Incidence of acute radiodermatitis in women with breast cancer undergoing hypofractionated radiotherapy

ABSTRACT Objective: To estimate the incidence and degree of acute radiodermatitis at end after treatment in women with breast cancer undergoing hypofractionated radiotherapy. Methods: Observational, prospective, longitudinal study, conducted between March 2019 January 2020, a radiotherapy outpatient clinic. Results: Thirty-two participated among whom, last session radiotherapy, 15 (46.9%) had radiodermatitis, erythema 13 (40.6%), wet peeling 2 (6.3%). In post-treatment evaluation, 27 (84.4%) 17 (53.1%), dry 8 (25%), Conclusion: The general was 37.5%, erythema, 12.5%, peeling, 25%. development care protocols for management is paramount importance.
